Smartabase Instructions - Players

Step 1

DOWNLOAD THE SMARTABASE ATHLETE APP

Please go to Google Play (android) or the App Store (Apple) and download the “Smartabase Athlete” app.

PLEASE NOTE there are multiple Smartabase Apps – download the “SMARTABASE ATHLETE” version.

Step 2

OPEN THE APP

Type URL: lasem.smartabase.com/research

Username: email you provided the research team or first name.surname

Your own password*

*Note: You should have received an email from support@smartabase.com to set up your password for the app. You may need to check your junk folder. If you miss the 24-hour window you will need to resend the reset password link by clicking on “FORGOT PASSWORD“. The reset link may take up to 15 minutes to come through. If you are having trouble email the research team (prep2play@latrobe.edu.au) requesting your password to be reset

TIP: If you have auto-correct activated on your phone, it can sometimes remove the ‘a’ from between ‘smart’ and ‘base’. Please make sure the URL says “smartabase” and not “smartbase”.


Step 3

CREATE YOUR OWN 4-DIGIT PIN

When you log in for the first time, it will prompt you to create your own 4-digit pin (you will use this to log in to the app each time).


Step 4

EVERY WEEK COMPLETE A 2-MINUTE QUESTIONNAIRE

We will send you an SMS on a Sunday evening to remind you to please complete it.

This can be done by opening the app and pressing the “Enter Player’s Weekly Report” button.

Please note this button will not appear in the app until just prior to Round 1.
